Charles and Lucy Gray Papers, 1863-1875.

Three envelopes of photocopies relating to Charles and Lucy Gray of Hughenden station, North Queensland. The collection consists of copies of Lucy Gray's letters to her family in England, 1863-65; portions of Charles Gray's Queensland Journal Oct/Sept 1868-1873; and Lucy Gray's letters to Charles Gray, December 1874-April 1875. Together with a fourth envelope containing a copy of an unpublished draft bound manuscript entitled "Lucy Gray and the Waters Family" by Dr Margaret Vivers. The original journal and correspondence are held in the Tairawhiti Museum, Gisborne, New Zealand.
